Let’s Lighten our load as we hit the road

The Manna campus we enjoy today is the result of the generous and sacrificial giving of our Manna family.

We’re happy to say it’s getting maximum use. Unlike many churches, we have the opportunity to open our facility during the week to both Manna activities and outside groups.

In 2022 we dedicated our picnic shelter and playground, inviting the community-at-large to use our new play area. People of all ages are on the move on our main campus and at The Porch, which we lease.

Our plan from the beginning has been to pay as much cash upfront as possible and to debt finance the remainder of our building’s costs. We believe this was done biblically and responsibly and we’ve been steadily paying it off each month.

Yet we’re not satisfied. And it’s a healthy discontent.

We rejoice in the way God, by His grace, is changing lives through our church. Our goal is “lighten our load” and remove any impediments. We desire to make disciples of Jesus, reaching more people locally and around the globe. To do that, we need to jettison any extra weight.

Our mortgage “cargo” has served us well, but it’s time to unload it.

Will you join us in aggressively paying off our remaining $3.2 million construction debt?

Our goal is to pay it off within two years, beginning this March.

Will it be easy? No.

Is it a reasonable goal? We believe it is.

We invite you to thoughtfully and prayerfully consider a monthly or annual gift – beyond your regular giving – to retire our debt and stay “on the move” together.

Imagine the possibilities!

Guides to giving

How much should we give?
We cannot give equal amounts. But we can all give something.

  • Give wisely. Please make building gifts over and above your normal giving. We must still pay our operating expenses while we pay off the mortgage.

  • Give thoughtfully. Pray it through. Think it through. Look at your financial reality, but don’t exclude faith.

  • Give consistently, not out of convenience or on a whim.

  • Give sacrificially. Giving should cost us something.

Thank you for your partnership!
